Staff, specially the girl at the front desk very kind rooms are size ok, not to small little hotel rebuild in old Benedictine Monastery located at the front of the town low, there is no mach choice of shopping but right behind at the little street there is a Bar-Restaurant called Antonio, very good for tapas and dinner and wine and some gourmet shops as well in from of the Antonio restaurant there is also a bakery so you can purchase bread and all kind of delicious cookies home made, croissants and cakes- 5 minutes walking from Hotel Restaurant in the Hotel is very good and really not expensive- full menu 19 Euros in front of the Hotel is a public Parking (Tuesday you cannot park as there is local market) but the rest of the days is free parking but difficult to find, 200 meters to the right (at the bus station) there is free parking spots available In front of the hotel there is also a public park, there is a Fresh Churreria so you can buy churros and porras in the morning with hot chocolat best location to visit Monasterio de Piedra (17 euros pp) great location at 45 minutes car,

Check in was good. Parked at front of hotel and the receptionist showed us where to park car in secure park with the fob. It was a very tight squeeze to get in the space but ok. Cost 10 euros for the night. Room quite warm so we opened the window to cool it down. Bathroom was small but ok. Hot water for showers. No dinners served that night so we had eaten earlier on our journey. A ‘coffee corner’ was shown to us for complimentary coffees in the evening. Breakfast was the usual continental. Fine. We ate and left to continue our adventure!

It's just a great place to stay. The situation is perfect as it is easy to find with good secure parking for motorcycles and easy car parking. Every member of staff were very pleasant and helpful including the restaurant. The restaurant serves excellent food and is well priced. The building itself is a very attractive construction and well looked after. I had a single room which was very well layed out and was very comfortable and so was the bed. Finally the area is clean, tidy and has numerous bars and eateries very close.

This is an old monastery converted to an excellent hotel in a good central location. We requested an easily accessible twin room with a walk-in shower and the room and bathroom were clean and cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful and the restaurant food and service were excellent although very busy. Dinner started at 8:30pm, which is late for us.

Ronnie

Three top things were the very helpful and friendly smiling lady ❤ in the reception, excellent breakfast and extremely good price/quality ratio for lunch in the hotel restaurant. Also good location - quiet and still only a few hundred meters to the main street. Free coffee available and cosy leather sofas where to enjoy it with friends.
